Benefits of Membership
CHETA provides a variety of services to all its members, including the following:
- Access to the CHETA listserve - Interact with peers by asking and answering questions about pertinent topics.
- A discount on College Board ACCUPLACER testing units
- Free marketing on the CHETA website. All members are listed on the Members page with a link to the homepage of their institution or testing Centre.
- Information updates on pertinent issues or events through our eblast messages.
- Access to professional development opportunities. On odd years we host a national conference with the next one scheduled for 2025. In between conferences, we offer webinars and other training activities. For more information, please view our PD webpage.
- Volunteer opportunities – CHETA is a non-profit organization so we rely on volunteers. This provides members with a tremendous chance to engage with other professionals who get what we do while enhancing their leadership skills and broadening their professional network.
CHETA Membership Types
Annual memberships are available to professionals involved with testing services at post-secondary institutions in Canada.
We offer three levels of memberships based on number of participants:
- Level 1 Fee $55 for 1 member
- Level 2 Fee $100 for 2 - 4 members
- Level 3 Fee $200 for 5 or more members .
To become a member complete the section below and indicate which membership level you require. We will send an invoice for the fees which can be paid online or via cheque.
